Since we have been traveling so much this summer, we have not been able to enjoy some of the things I love most about summertime. Like lazy nothin' to do but lay by the pool days, and those summer naps AFTER the pool!
Well, today we were finally able to have one of those days. The kids and I slept in till around 10:00, lazily got up and had breakfast, got our pool bag together, and headed to the pool.
The pool was relatively quiet, and I was actually able to read a couple magazines...(caught up on the Hollywood gossip.....Jamie Lynn had her baby, Heather Locklier is in some mental institution, Eva Longoria had her one year anniversary, blah blah, blah.....WHO CARES?.....Oh, well there was ONE thing in that mag that had me laughing and cringing at the same time......the article about the 101 consecutive days of sex that some CRAZY couple decided to do for the fun of it.........FUN? 101 STRAIGHT days? YIKES!......oh well, whatever floats their boat! hmmmm..... )
The water felt great today, and the kids had a blast playing in the sprinklers and floating around the pool.
ooooh, another favorite of summer....FRESH FRUIT! We just stocked up last night at the grocery store, and the kids have already devoured a ton of it!

Tonight's dessert....fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream topped with drizzled caramel...because let's face it.....EVERYTHING tastes better with a little caramel!
Oh, and one last thing, you GOTTA love summer HAIR.....not brushed, and flying everywhere!! ha!ha!.......Okay, maybe that's not summer hair.....just AVA hair!

You are late about the 101 day thing. I already did a post. That was where I got the crazy idea for couples to have sex for 101 days straight. Yes, they are crazy. I have since than deleted the post.

Madisyn is jealous of the cakes your family have had, so I tracked down a lady who does cakes using fondant.
