Ok, so I am trying to upload pictures, and blogger has stopped cooperating, so I will go with what I have and will have to post the others later!
For starters, I don't know what has happened to my seemingly casual life. Ever since the time change, I can't get my act together. My body has not adjusted to the change, and I absolutely hate it getting dark so early! I have been so tired it is unbelievable!!! Is anyone else having as much of a problem as I am?
That being said, blogging has had to be put on the back burner for a while. By the time I get the kids down and I am able to relax......I can barely think, and have found myself zoned out in front of the TV the past few nights going to bed by ten!!! (soooooo NOT the norm here!!)
Sick of my complaining and excuses? I am too, so I will stop now.
My awesome friend Melissa had asked me several weeks ago if I would take their family picture for their Christmas card, so on Saturday afternoon we went down to one of the lakes in our neighborhood, and had ourselves a mini photo shoot!! It was so much fun, and obviously the subjects were GORGEOUS, so I didn't have to do much!! This was my first family other than my own that I have photographed.
I am TOYING with photography a little bit, and plan on attending classes after the new year (right after I get my new mac daddy camera that I am getting for Christmas!!! YAY!!!!!) I am pleased with my first attempt, and it really confirmed my desire to learn more and get better!
These are just a few of the dozens we took!
So, I am still trying to upload my painting project (blogger is still on strike apparently), and I owe you an explanation for the shoes in the post below.......but it's 9:00 and I have yet to shower from the gym, and if I don't get in there soon, I am going to throw up on myself from my own stench!!!! SOOOOOOOO............I promise you will get the goods tomorrow! (don't get tooo excited.......)
Those are awesome pictures. I love the one of them kissing and the kids looking in. Super cute!
Great pictures, do you mind coming to Indiana to do mine? We are close friends, you know. Oh, and how in the world did I not have you on my blogroll? and how did it take this long for me to realize it. So sorry about that, problem fixed though.
And take a break from blogging, it's ok, we'll wait.
I agree with the time changes. I have been in slow motion as well.
BTW...great pictures.
Cute pictures! So what camera do you want? I am 'wishin' for a Canon Rebel.........I so, want to take some great shots now. :)
Heidi
Those are really beautiful pictures you took of your friends and in such a lovely setting too. You really have a talent for photography. I wish we were more photogenic as a family. We rarely have pictures taken of us and I usually dislike them anyway! We would be a challenge for you!!
This time of year makes me grumpy. I agree it is the nights getting darker earlier that does it.

WOW, Heidi...I am seriously impressed...what "little daddy" camera are you using now?
I also get out of sorts this time of year...but then again, I work on retail so it's probably the big rush to gear up for the Holidays...
Love,
Susie
Great picture! They are all great! I think you would be a great photographer...so keep on keeping on!
Oh yeah, the time change has been sucking the life right out of me! When I get home from work I just want to put my jammies on and veg out until bedtime!
Love 'em! You're a natural. I want to set up a photo shoot. Seriously. Jackson was 2 the last time we had pics of the family made. He is now 6. I need you. Nuff said?
Great job!
You've got an eye for beauty!
Could they be a more beautiful family?! Great job with the pictures.
I was GONNA comment on the time change doing the SAME thing to ME, and then I saw those gorgeous pictures...and that is PRE-classes...WOW!
I'm still learning myself, but ONE day, I'll be all official-like. You did a SMASHING job on those!
Heidi,
Your pics turned out sooo great! I love them! Good job!! (p.s. Where's the stink eye pics?)ha ha
Those are great!!!
I already commented on Melissa's blog, but you did a great job with the photos - you go, girl!
