American Idol is over as far as I'm concerned!

David Cook is in a league of his own. Period. That boy can BLOW!!!!! If he doesn't win, I'm scratching American Idol out of my will!!!!

Ava's ballet pictures came back today, and I couldn't believe how cute they were! Ava has been in ballet since last August, and her first recital is next Saturday the tenth. She is so totally excited, and keeps talking about dancing on the stage. Today was her first rehearsal on the actual stage, and she was sooo pumped!
As her mother, I can't believe she is old enough to do something like this, but she sure does love it and it's so cute to see her practicing her "bal-la-lay" moves. (she still can't say ballet, so I guess she's not THAT old! ha!ha!....WHEW!)

Bye Bye PCB, see ya next time!...Ha! Ha! Yesterday afternoon after squeezing in four last hours on the beach, we headed back to the great ATL! I arrived home around two thirty this morning, and got straight in the bed for some MUCH needed rest after our WILD and CRAZY weekend. It's funny because we were "getting away" in the first place for some rest and relaxation, and we ended up acting like teenagers and not going to bed before three am each night! Ha! Go figure! Needless to say, the problem with that is, I am NOT a teenager, and no amount of acting like one is going to fool my thirty SOMETHING body!...............oh to be young again and be able to recover from a weekend like this in a day or two,..........instead of the WEEK that it's going to take ME!!!!!!! Ha!Ha!Ha!
IT WAS WORTH IT THOUGH!! We had such a great time just being away from all responsibilities and commitments, and just laughing and being crazy! I think ALL women need to get away with their friends from time to time for some rejuvenation!!
I have to say though, the closer I got to Atlanta, the more I couldn't wait to see my husband and children. I am so thankful for a husband who makes sacrifices and takes GREAT care of the kids so that I can go on these trips every now and then! Thank you sweetie!

And thanks girlies for the GREAT fun weekend!! Can't wait till next time!..........and maybe next time we can see Shawty's "patio furniture"!

PCB day two!!

Another gorgeous day!! ALL four of us are fried to a CRISP!! We were on the beach today for about seven hours!...............Surprisingly we went shopping(AGAIN!) at the outlets, and another late dinner at a great Sushi restaurant!! We then decided that SOME of us couldn't be trusted to stay awake at home for a movie, so we went to a late movie in Destin!.......Hollie then proceeded to take us on a "tour" of Friday night life in PCB, McDonald's ice cream, and a black moon..................and that's all I'm going to say about that!.............Check out Hollie's blog for what we are doing right now at 2:45 am.............................

Midnight movie!......or NOT!!

So last night we decided at midnight that we were ALL going to watch a movie....and that we were ALL going to stay awake.................
hmmm,......these two crashed before opening credits were finished.............OYE!!

Sun, Sand, and Surf Baby!!

Yesterday we left the ATL and headed south to PCB!!!! No kids, No husbands, and NO responsibilities!! YAHOO!!

Today was BEAUTIFUL! We spent the entire day on the beach, did a little shopping (real shocker I know!), then had a late dinner at Boatyard! Yummo!...............Lots of laughs.....and currently Hollie is CONVINCED that we are being stalked and watched!!............................Oh my! We'll see what tomorrow holds.........

I did NOT pick out this outfit for Carter today!!!!!!!.....In fact I never even saw him before he left this morning. When I went to pick him up at school, and saw him waiting for me, I thought I was going to die!!......Then to make matters worse, he must have been in a hurry with Craig this morning and did not get the shampoo rinsed out.........making his hair nasty and greasy!!!......................needless to say, I have handpicked his clothes for tomorrow............and it doesn't involve dark green socks!!............OYE!!!

Tonight we had an authentic Mexican meal prepared for us by our awesome new friends the Canada's. The Canada's were our translators in the Dominican, and when she found out how much Hollie and I enjoyed Mexican food, she invited us over for "the real stuff".......and it was AWESOME!!
While we ate, we hired Vickie to come and watch all four kids at Kidstock so that we could actually carry on conversation.
Upon retrieving our children, they had a surprise for us...........COMPLETE and UTTER FILTH!!!!!!!.........I don't think my children have EVER been this dirty before!! We couldn't stop laughing at how nasty they were............Oh my!!
Oh well, they had fun and they LOVED Vickie! Thanks Vickie! And Thanks Canada's for an awesome night!

Sunday football and smores!!

Ava thought she would get a little tackle in herself!
Hey guys, fire just doesn't magically appear!!


Yesterday after church we headed to the Dover's for some football, pizza, smores, and a movie! The weather right now is unbelievably amazing, so we spent the entire afternoon and evening outside! Robin and I were testing lots of different hot teas while the "boys" played football, and Ava did a little of both! Ha! (we didn't get home until 10:30 last night, which didn't make for such a great morning!!....oops!)

I am so excited that we are finally having consistently warm beautiful weather, but now I have the "summer pool itch".....can't wait!!

Ummm, my husband has NEVER made smores before!

NO JOKE!! This is how Craig thought you make smores.......we were laughing so hard, and he couldn't figure out why we were laughing!.. He kept saying "my hand is getting a little hot, how long does this take?" and Jeff just kept telling him to hang on a little longer.........I have NEVER laughed this hard at my husband before!! Then he started getting mad that we were laughing at him (because he can dish, but he can't take!). He then wanted to know where the "poker thing" was that would fit his ENTIRE smores sandwich on it, because all he could see were the "poker things" that only held marshmallows, and by golly, he didn't want just marshmallows!! He wanted the whole sandwich cooked....................???????!!!!!!!:-)...........OH MY, now who's blonde?..............................................................I'm pretty sure that he will NEVER live this one down!! Jeff and Robin were beside themselves with laughter!!

So, the next time you see Craig, ask him if he would like to make some smores!!!

So this morning we thought we'd shake things up a little and do some "artwork" outside since it was so beautiful! Things got a little out of control when I decided to do a little artwork of my own............on Carter's back!!.........Ha! that's when the REAL fun started!!....................Now I'm enjoying some peace and quiet since Craig took the kids somewhere.............aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................

Friday movie night done a little different!

Yep! It's official! Craig and Jeff are going to have their hands full when these girls get older............and I'm just going to laugh.................as usual!!!!.....................ha!ha!, and now I'm laughing because I just made it sound like Craig and Jeff were a couple!! ha!ha!........still laughing............man, I crack myself up........................snorting now...............it's just getting funnier and funnier the more I write...................ok, almost crying now........................WHAT"S WRONG WITH ME?????? IT WASN'T THAT FUNNY!!..............but it really was...............can't get control.............almost dropped my laptop on the ground from uncontrollable shaking going on here.............................what time is it anyways? I am completely out of control!!!...........and now I just looked at the picture below and found it funny too!..................Robin, WHAT on earth was in my drink?????????..........................I CAN"T STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!.......seriously, my side hurts and the dog is scared stiff...............omg! I've completely LOST it!!................................starting to gain control..............................but just thought about it again.........Craig and Jeff.........gay couple...................can't stop.........my dog is howling in fear right now..........which makes things even funnier.......................................i'm gonna puke from laughing so hard......................................I seriously can't finish this post........ok, in a nutshell, our Hubby's went to the Braves game tonight, so us four girls and our kiddos watched Water Horse together..........good times!!.........................................not as good as Craig and Jeff being gay though..........................omg, here we go again.............................totally wiping tears from my eyes now......................................omg, omg, omg, dog is scrambling to the door probably praying that Craig will come home and rescue her from the mad women.............ha! i wrote womEn as in plural, and there's only ME here........................gotta go...........I'm gonna pee my pants.........................can't stop laughing..........

Today the weather was amazing......so what to do? The lake of course. The kids and I had a great time after school today feeding the fish and ducks.............(in case you haven't already noticed, this is my favorite place to come)......and btw, I have NO idea what Carter is trying to attract here.........or scare off..............
