Sunday randomness and chaos!

Ava and I were driving to church yesterday morning (Craig and Carter had already left.....they couldn't wait for the "divas" to drag themselves out of bed!), and Twila Paris was on the radio. Now let me preface this next thing with the fact that we listen to "the Fish" A LOT......not just on Sunday mornings!!.......ok, having said that, apparently little miss Ava wasn't too impressed with Twila. She said to me, "Mommy, I want boots with the fur.....not this yucky stuff.."............Whoa!......I mean I can understand not caring that much for Twila......she is a little old fashioned........but does it have to be Apple Bottoms as the alternative????.................I may need to add a few more "filters" to our life.........we obviously struggle in that department.......ha!

So, I thought I would STEP outside for a few SHORT minutes last night to say hello to our neighbors since everyone was out there. Craig leaned out the back door and said he was taking Carter fishing. No problem! Have fun!.....................................................................BUT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN CORDIAL IF YOU HADN'T LOCKED ME OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR THE THREE HOURS YOU WERE GONE !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep! I was locked outside with no shoes and no phone! (gasp!@#:) However, I did have my camera!! (gasp,shock,again!@#;) Too bad my camera didn't produce dinner that my daughter hadn't eaten yet, and too bad my camera couldn't clean my house for the appraisal that was supposed to take place today on our home............................
Let's just say, I'm pretty sure my neighbors cracked their windows open and were peeking through the blinds (when we FINALLY noticed lightage in the Z house and Ava and I RETURNED home..............................at 9:30.......), hoping to hear what would go on when we got there.
Things took one more turn for the worse when I got to my back door, it was still locked and I couldn't get them to answer because they were in the shower!!
At that point, I turned around and said to my neighbors...."I'm pretty sure your windows don't even NEED to be opened for this ONE...........and please excuse the small earthquake you might feel in about two minutes!!"
